Horticulturist - Landscape Designer - Consultant - Educator - Speaker

Chris Maler, FCHP, FFLCP, is a professional horticulturist, garden designer, and consultant. He is a native south Floridian, and has been in horticulture in Broward county since 1987. His professional work includes time as a nursery grower, an IPM pest control applicator, commercial and residential landscape designer, installer, project manager, and estate gardener on everything from homes and condos to multi-million dollar estates and golf courses.
Since 2022, Chris has been the Senior Director of Horticulture at Flamingo Gardens Botanical Garden in Davie Fl.
He frequently teaches the public or speaks on tropical horticulture and gardening.
Chris is a founder of the Flamingo Gardens Garden Club, where we are building a community of gardening enthusiasts in Broward County.
